Blessed Be

Well here we are, the day after Easter.  Yesterday, celebration.  Today, Monday.
An invisible, viciously unbiased enemy, still lingers, robbing us of our normal.
Mangled finances.  Relentless uncertainty.  Brokenness.

And, yet, His promise remains true.
In the message of yesterday, everything changed. ❤

Though we walk through the wilderness,
Though we are found in the desert place,
We shall receive a land that is plentiful,
A land where streams of abundance flow.

Whether the darkness closes in or the sun is shining down on us,
Whether we are on a road marked with suffering or the world is all that it should be,
We can say, blessed be the name of the Lord, blessed be His name.

He gives and takes away.
Still our heart shall choose to say,
Blessed be the name of the Lord,
Blessed be Your name.

Blessed be the name of the Lord,
Blessed be Your glorious name.
